Take a Step Toward Better Health!
According to the American Heart Association, walking for as little as 30 minutes a day can reduce the risk of coronary heart disease, improve blood pressure and blood sugar levels, maintain body weight and lower the risk of obesity, and improve cholesterol levels.
Each month, Silverton Health physicians will lead a 30-minute walk in the community. Participants get a fee t-shirt and pedometer, and we'll check your blood pressure.
Take a walk and learn more about how to take charge of your health, and take steps toward positive changes.
