5K and 1K kids fun run

Course:  The course begins near the pavilion in Riverfront Park.  Runners head north and cross the Union St. Bridge into Wallace Marine Park where they complete a loop around the outer perimeter of the park, mostly on hog fuel (wood chip) trails. After completing this loop runners head back across the bridge and complete a small loop around the carousel in Riverfront Park before they finish near the starting line in the south meadow section of the park.   Superhero costumes are encouraged for all participants and a costume contest (for people, dogs and strollers) will follow the running events.  *Course consists of varied terrain including asphalt, chip trails and side-walks.
