During this 5 week event, people travel from all over to enjoy a day out in the country and have the opportunity to enjoy one of the main attractions - Pigtucky Derby! Hosted by Farmer John and Farmer Eric, they'll have you kicking back and laughing and as their dough-nut trained pigs race around the track.
Kicking off the start to our Fall Harvest Festival is an event that is dear to our Hearts. Join us for Fight for Your Life 5K Run/Walk & Kid’s Dash!!! The race will be hosted at Emily's Family farm, French Prairie Gardens, where she grew up and helped work the fields. This flat course will be located on dirt roads winding through the farm land out in the country. Great for Runners, Joggers, Walkers or all ages. Family Friendly event.
Join us for the Kids Dash, sponsored by Metro Parent, and consists of an 800 meter race for kids ages 5-10. Receive one free admission along with your race registration into our Fall Harvest Festival to see the Pigtucky Derby Pig Races, go through our mazes, visit our Brew area, and food vendors for a day of fun!
Then on October 26th & 27th we will be hosting Military Appreciation Weekend. As a way to thank our servicemen and service women this weekend we'll welcoming a special group No Soldier Left Behind! We will also be awarding local veteran families with Free Pumpkins for their service.
No Soldier Left Behind is a great non-profit organization helping Veterans find access to services and raise awareness about PTSD. For more information on their cause, visit http://www.no-soldier-left-behind.org/. $2 from every admission this weekend will be donated to No Soldier Left Behind and their cause, so come on out to support our Veterans!
