Food Drive with the Woodburn, Hubbard and Aurora Fire Districts
The Fire Districts of Woodburn, Hubbard, and Aurora will be canvassing their communities this Saturday, December 3rd beginning around 9 a.m.
The Woodburn Fire Department will be collecting food along with the Boy Scouts, Public Works Employees, Various Community Service Clubs throughout the Woodburn Area with the food going to St Vincent De Paul of Woodburn. They have committed to adopting 175 families from the Woodburn Area. Woodburn will also have a fire engine collecting food in the Gervais area with the food going to the Sacred Heart food distribution network.
The Hubbard and Aurora Fire Departments will be out collecting food along with the Boy Scouts throughout their respective communities. The food that they collect will be distributed through the Hubbard Love Santa group in the Hubbard, Donald and Aurora area for families who have signed up needing assistance.
When you hear the sirens coming down your street, please bring your food, toys or cash donations curbside. All Fire Engines will have a trail vehicle following to assist in receiving your donations.
