Emergency Preparedness Training
Road to Readiness: Emergency Preparedness Training, is important to all of us and crucial for caregivers of people with special needs.
Join us for a free class at the Hope Village Community Room, 1535 S Ivy St, Canby, OR on Tuesday, November 13 from 1-2:30 p.m. In order to prepare for materials and reserve your space, please RSVP by calling 503.502.4509.
Training participants become familiar with:
- identifying emergency situations
- how an emergency may affect their abilities
- importance of developing a personal contact list
- putting together disability specific "To Go bags" and "72-hour kits"
- preparing pets and service animals
- developing evacuation plans
- importance of updating their emergency preparedness plans.
