The Woodburn Police Department will be holding their first Citizen’s Police Academy for 2013 starting February 21st, 2013 through the end of March. The police academy is a 6 week course consisting of a 3 hour class each week on topics such as personal safety, Drugs and the drug K9, Gangs, Police Response, Being a Good Witness and much more. Throughout the class you will be exposed to behind the scenes information such as police dispatch, police weapons and the police administration. You will not want to miss this session of Woodburn Citizen’s Police Academy.
There is no cost to the participant but there is a participant application that is required to be completed prior to attending the class. Although there is no cost, the participant MUST pass a background check to be able to participate in this police academy. Class size is limited!!
