DESCRIPTION:The largest one-day food drive of the year will take place Saturday\, May 10. It's the 22nd Annual National Association of Letter Carriers Food Drive.\n\n \n\nMarion and Polk county letter carriers will join their counterparts across the nation to become both mail deliverers and food collectors on this day. Last year\, this drive brought in more than 105\,000 pounds of food to the Marion-Polk Food Share hunger-relief network. The drive provides a terrific boost to the food supply in every community in our region as food stays in the community where it is collected.
