DESCRIPTION:You are invited to come and participate in the 4th Citizen's Police Academy sponsored by the Woodburn Police Department. The Citizen's Police Academy consists of a 6 week long class that will meet once a week to provide the citizen's of Woodburn insight of their police department.\n\n\n\nThe classes will provide information about some of the issues that face our community and its' citizens today\; and what we can do together to continue to make Woodburn a safer place to live. Topics include but are not limited to Criminal Investigations\, Police K9's\, Gangs\, Drugs\, Criminal and Traffic laws\, City Ordinances\, 911 Dispatch (Norcom)\, CPTED and much more. There will also be some hands on training providing "real life" insight into the life of a police officer. \n\n\n\nRegister today as class size is limited to the first 20 people!  DEADLINE TO REGISTER IS MAY 16th\, 2012 by 5pm  - SORRY\, NO EXCEPTIONS\n\nApplications may be picked up at the Woodburn Police Department or visit the Woodburn Chamber of Commerce webpage for a copy of the application.
